# Level Meter – Aktivierungsverfahren

**Voraussetzungen/Bedingungen**

#### **1. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung von der Linse des Sensors.**

**2. Schütteln Sie das Gerät mehrmals in die ToF-Richtung. (TOF: Time Of Flight)**

**3. Überprüfen Sie die LED auf der Rückseite des Geräts.**

* Wenn Schritt 2 erfolgreich abgeschlossen wurde, sollte die LED auf der Rückseite aufleuchten (Modus „Always On“).
* Wenn die LED nicht leuchtet, wiederholen Sie Schritt 2.

**4. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Registrierung erfolgreich war:**

* Beobachten Sie die LED:\
  a. Die LED blinkt schnell für 3 Sekunden und schaltet sich dann aus, was bedeutet, das Gerät wurde erfolgreich aktiviert.\
  b. Dieser Vorgang kann bis zu 3 Minuten dauern. Nach erfolgreicher Aktivierung wird die LED nicht mehr leuchten, auch wenn Schritt 2 wiederholt wird.
* Beobachten Sie die LED:\
  a. Wenn die LED ohne zu blinken ausgeht, ist das Aktivierungsverfahren fehlgeschlagen.\
  b. Mögliche Ursachen:\
  \-- Ein ungültiges Netzwerk.\
  \-- Ein Problem mit der gIoT Cloud-Plattform der Deutschen Telekom.

Der Installationsort sollte so gewählt werden, dass der Tracker keinen starken mechanischen Belastungen wie Stößen, Vibrationen, Biegungs- und Drehkräften ausgesetzt ist.
