# Geofence

Die **Geofence-Funktionalität** ermöglicht die Erstellung virtueller Grenzen oder geografischer Bereiche, die von Geräten beim Betreten oder Verlassen erkannt werden können. Diese Geofences sind grundlegend für standortbasierte Automatisierungen und Überwachungen und ermöglichen eine erweiterte Kontrolle und Reaktionsfähigkeit auf der Plattform.

### Geo-Fences können auf verschiedenen Ebenen angewendet werden.

* **Geofence-Alarmregel**:  Alarme auslösen, wenn Geräte ein vordefiniertes Gebiet betreten oder verlassen.
* **Adaptive Konfigurationsregel**: Wendet spezifische Konfigurationsänderungen an Geräte an, basierend auf ihrer Position, relativ zu einem Geofence.
* **Konfigurationen**: Werden in zeitgesteuerten Konfigurationen verwendet, um Einstellungen basierend auf Geofence-Bereichen zu aktivieren oder zu deaktivieren.
* **Gerätegruppierung**: Geräte automatisch in Gruppen aufnehmen, basierend auf ihrer Position innerhalb eines Geofences.
* **Dashboards**: Visualisieren von Gerätepositionen und -Bewegungen innerhalb von Geofence-Bereichen mit Hilfe von Karten-Widgets.

Geofences sind intuitiv zu erstellen Sie verwalten und gewährleisten eine nahtlose Integration mit Regeln, Konfigurationen und Überwachungstools der Plattform.
