Q. What browsers does Giot Support ?

Q. Why didn’t I receive the Access/Invitation link to the platform?
A. Contact the administrator who invited you to confirm that the correct email address was used for your profile.
Check your email's spam or trash folder for the invitation link.
Q. I Forgot my password. What do i do ?
A. Ask your administrator to request a password update for your profile. You will then receive a link via email to set a new password, without needing to enter the old one.
Q. Can I change my Password?
A. Yes, Click on your name and avatar in the top right of the screen, then click Profile to open Profile Settings, then click on Password. Enter your old password, then confirm your new password.
Q. How do I register on the platform?
A. You must receive an invitation from an administrator or a user with the proper permissions to create new profiles. Upon invitation, you'll receive a link prompting you to set up your password.
Q. How to change the profile language?
A. Click on your name and avatar in the top right of the screen, then click Profile to open Profile Settings. Scroll down to find Language, select your preferred language from the dropdown menu, and click Save
Q. How do I activate the LM or LCT device?
A. Both devices follow a simple activation process upon delivery, as they arrive in a dormant state:
LM (Level Meter): Gently shake the device in the direction of the TOF sensor. Wait for the LED to turn on and blink for 3 seconds. Once complete, the device will automatically appear in your device list on the platform. Find the LM Activation Process guide book page to learn more
LCT (Low-Cost Tracker): Use an NFC reader and slowly pass it over the top surface of the device. Once the reader detects the signal, the device is successfully activated. Find the LCT Activation Process guide book page to learn more.
⚠️ NOTE: If the device was not yet on-boarded on the platform upon arrival may take up to 36 hours for the device to appear on the G.I.O.T. platform, depending on network conditions and signal strength.
