For best transmission results:
Mount the tracker externally, ensuring a clear view of the sky, unobstructed by metal or carbon fiber surfaces.,
Select an installation site that protects the tracker from excessive mechanical stress, (as shocks, impacts, vibrations, bending, or twisting forces);
Make sure the chosen location has sufficient mobile network coverage.
In addition, for the LCT Advanced:
for optimal reception, the tracker should lie flat: it has an additional GPS receiver built in,
The LCT Advanced also features a tamper contact. During installation, care must be taken to ensure that the contact is kept permanently pressed.
Due to the dead weight of the Low Cost Tracker, mounting using tape is not recommended.
