# Low Cost Tracker Device Mounting Instructions

For best transmission results:

* Mount the tracker externally, ensuring a clear view of the sky, unobstructed by metal or carbon fiber surfaces., 
* Select an installation site that protects the tracker from excessive mechanical stress, (as shocks, impacts, vibrations, bending, or twisting forces);
* Make sure the chosen location has sufficient mobile network coverage.

In addition, for the LCT Advanced:

* for optimal reception, the tracker should lie flat: it has an additional GPS receiver built in,
* The LCT Advanced also features a tamper contact. During installation, care must be taken to ensure that the contact is kept permanently pressed. <br>
