LM - Add Widgets

Device page > Widgets

Widgets are modular components of the IoT platform, designed to provide a flexible and dynamic way to visualize device data, monitor key metrics, and interact with operational features. These components allow real-time presentation of data through charts, tables, and device location visualizations.

Steps to Find and Add Widgets

  1. Open the Device Page from the Cockpit menu.

  2. Select the desired device to access its dashboard.

  3. Click the + icon on the dashboard to open the widget selection pop-up and choose the widget to add.

LM - Graph widget

The Graph Widget allows for the visualization of historical data transmitted by the devices, displayed in graphical formats such as line graphs.

  1. Access the Device Dashboard: Navigate to the Device Page by selecting the specific device from the list and clicking on its name.

  2. Add a Graph Widget: In the device dashboard, click the + Add Widget icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Graph Widget: From the popup menu, select the Graph Widget.

  4. Configure the Graph

  5. Save the Configuration: Click Save to add the widget to the device dashboard.

  6. Verify and Adjust: The graph widget will now appear on the dashboard. If needed, click the gear icon on the widget to update or modify the configuration.

  • Choose Measurements: Select the parameters to display on the graph (e.g., temperature, battery, humidity).

  • Set Timeframe: Define the time period for the data visualization using the calendar icon.

VST- Export Data

  1. Create and Configure the Graph Widget: Follow the steps to configure the Graph Widget on the LM device dashboard.

  2. Locate the Download Icon: Once the table is displayed on the device dashboard, find the download icon in the top-right corner of the table widget.

  3. Export the Data: Click on the download icon to export the displayed data. The file will be downloaded in a standard format, such as CSV for further analysis.

The Table widget displays only the latest data in a structured tabular format.

Set Up Tabel Widget

This setup ensures that all critical LM data is organized and accessible in an easy-to-read table format, directly on the device dashboard.

  1. Access the Device Dashboard: Navigate to the Device Page by selecting the specific LM device from the device list and clicking on its name.

  2. Add a Table Widget: Click the + Add Widget icon in the top-right corner of the device dashboard.

  3. Select Table Widget: From the widget options popup, choose the Table Widget.

  4. Configure the Table Widget: Select Parameters: Choose the parameters to display in the table, such as temperature, battery level, motion tracking, or tamper status.

  5. Save the Configuration: Click Save to finalize and apply the table widget to the device dashboard.

  6. Review and Adjust: The table widget will now appear on the dashboard, displaying the selected parameters. To modify the settings, click the gear icon on the widget and update the configuration as needed.

VST - Export Table Data

  1. Create and Configure the Table Widget: Follow the steps to configure the Table Widget on the LM device dashboard.

  2. Locate the Download Icon: Once the table is displayed on the device dashboard, find the download icon in the top-right corner of the table widget.

  3. Export the Data: Click on the download icon to export the displayed data. The file will be downloaded in a standard format, such as CSV for further analysis.

LM - Map Widget

LM Map Widget

The Map Widget allows the display of both Last location and historical locations of the device on a geographical map.

This feature is available only for devices that support geolocation, improving tracking capabilities and enabling analysis of movement patterns over time.

Set up Map Widget

  1. Access the Device Dashboard

  2. Navigate to the Cockpit Menu, go to the Devices section, and locate the desired LM device.

  3. Click on its name to open the device dashboard.

  4. Add a Map Widget:

Click on the + Add Widget icon in the top-right corner of the device dashboard.

  1. Select the Map Widget:

From the widget options popup, choose the Map Widget.

  1. Configure the Map Widget:

  • Display Options: Select whether to show the last known location or the path history of the device.

  • Time Interval: For path history, define the timeframe using the calendar tool or select predefined intervals. Or configure a specific custom timeframe.

  1. Save the Configuration: Click Save to finalize and display the Map Widget on the device dashboard.

Review and Adjust: The Map Widget will now visualize the device's geolocation data. To modify its configuration, click the gear icon on the widget and update the settings as needed.

LM - Performance widget

The Performance widget can be configured, reflecting tenant performance, and at the specific device level. It displays data processing times in milliseconds, represented in 5-minute intervals on a graph for comprehensive analysis. The widget presents individual device performance metrics, illustrating the effectiveness of data processing.

Set Up Performance Widget

  1. Access the Device Dashboard: Navigate to the Cockpit Menu, go to the Devices section, and locate the desired LM device. Click on its name to open the device dashboard.

  2. Add a Performance Widget: Click on the + Add Widget icon in the top-right corner of the device dashboard.

  3. Select the Performance Widget: From the widget options popup, choose the Performance Widget.

  4. Configure the Widget:

  • Set Timeframe: Use the calendar tool to define the time period to analyze the device's performance (e.g., last hour, day, or week). Or set a Custom timeframe.

  1. Save the Configuration: Click Save to finalize the Performance Widget setup.

  2. Review and Adjust: The Performance Widget will now display the selected metrics on the device dashboard. To update the settings, click the gear icon on the widget and modify as needed.

LM - Alarms Widget

The Alarms Widget provides a summary of all alarms triggered by the device, organized by severity: Critical, Major, Minor, and Warning. This prioritization ensures a clear overview of the most urgent issues. Users can quickly access detailed information about specific alarms by clicking on the severity level they wish to explore.

  1. Access the Device Dashboard: Open the Cockpit Menu, navigate to the Devices section, and locate the desired LM device. Click on its name to access the device dashboard.

  2. Add an Alarms Widget: Click the + Add Widget icon in the top-right corner of the device dashboard.

  3. Select the Alarms Widget: From the widget options popup, choose the Alarms Widget.

  4. Save the Widget: Since no additional configuration is required, click Save to add the widget to the device dashboard.

LM - Container Level Widget

The Container Level widget is purely illustrative: it displays the data related to the container as the container ID, the fill level, the capacity previously selected and the latest update. The data can’t be modified from this screen.
