Create FOTA campaign

Steps to Create a FOTA Campaign

1. Access Campaign Creation

   • In the Campaigns page, click on the ⋮ (ellipsis) menu at the top-right corner.

   • Select Create Campaign.

2. Fill in Campaign Details

   • Campaign Name: Choose a clear, descriptive name.

   • Device Type: Select whether the campaign is for Low-Cost Tracker (LCT) or Level Meter (LM).

   • Expected Firmware Version:

     • Used to exclude devices that are already running the selected firmware.

   • Target Group (Optional but Recommended):

     • You can select an existing group from your device list.

     • The firmware update will only apply to devices of the selected type within that group.

3. Complete the Setup

   • After filling in all the required details, click Complete.

Understanding FOTA Campaign Status

• Update 1 → The FTP server IP is sent to the devices.

• Update 2 → The device wakes up and confirms receipt of the FTP server IP.

• Running → The firmware update process has started.
